Mostly now, just being able to sit and talk is precious to me. But when my daugther was younger, the funnest memory was when we would turn the radio up and dance around the living room, just being silly.

The pool, dollar movies, events at the library and occaisonal visits to the bowling alley and indoor playgrounds (e.g. Monkey Joe's).

I'm running out of ideas. I've got 5 and 4 year old girls who love to get out and do fun things, but I also have a 1 year old son who isn't content sitting on the sidelines. It's very difficult to find things for us all to do.

Help my mother with her house such as cleaning front and back yard, trimming tree limbs, edging her lawn, clear the plant bedding for her to plant her flowers there, painted her inside home, hung her family pictures on the hall wall (which was never there) and soon, we (my children and I) will paint outside of her home with the color she likes. Basically, I'm encouraging my children help and see how to give comfort to their grandmother when she needed the most. It's a blessing to be able to give my mother the comfort, relax and clean home. This will be a fond memory for me and my children.

Today is my daughter"s 14th birthday. We had a small celebration at my home with cake and ice cream. My 85 year old mother and my sister joined us. My mother, who has a failing memory, asked me if she was the grandmother. It's sad to see my mother slipping away but at the same time have joy for the young woman my daughter is becoming. I wish a could make time stand still for a while.

I have just returned from New York,And while we were there I carried my sweet grand daughter to see "Mary Poppins" on broadway. After the show I asked her if she would like to come back to see another show, she said"yes,I liked it but I like it better when we just go to Mcdonald Ganny" Later on I thought about how we pass over the little things with our children and grands, all they want and need is to be with us!!! and I prayed and thanked my Father that I could feel the love she had for me!!!!:)

I took my daughter to the Blist this morning and picked up my son's friend to spent the night. Today, I did something different. I took the time to look around while driving. I didn't realize how amazing God's creation. Trees, rivers, marsh, birds, flowers and etc. I'm thinking about pulling my camera out of the storage and start taking pictures! Thank you Jesus for such a beautiful day that I had the chance to see the natures and be appreciated.

i work very long hours and sunday is m only day to really get to do fun stuff with my family. so after church is over we try to pick somethin fun. which most of the conversation in the car was about the 2 year olds we just helped out with on first service. which is new to me. i have always had 2nd and 3rd grade girls but i thought this summer i would try something new( boy am i out of practice chaning diapers ha ha) but after we get on the road its always what we are goin to do next? so its lunch, movie, drive to the beach. but whatever it is,its very precious to me.my children are all i have now.

My son is in Utah at his Father's hosue for 6 weeks so I have had some rare one-on-one time with my 15 year old stepson. Last night and tonight, we painted one of his bedroom walls Crimson-Tide red. I am not a 'Bama fan, but I am a huge Sam fan so I think it looks great!
